Xuzhou Meritor Axle Co., Ltd (XMAL) is a joint venture established in 1996 by Xuzhou Construction Mechanical Group and Meritor Inc. It is the largest construction and specialty vehicle axle manufacturer in China with almost 1300 employees including over 100 technicians. The joint venture has a total investment of $24.087M USD with registered capital of $16.803M USD. Meritor has 60% equity share with XCMG controlling 40%. 
As one manufacturer for construction and specialty vehicle axle, XMAL becomes the indisputable leader depending on its construction axle manufacturing process and production innovation. Products include four big categories with over 300 kinds of axles; they are truck crane, loader, paving, specialty and so on. They are widely applied in truck cranes, all terrain (AT) cranes, loaders, backhoes, compactors, graders, stabilizers, mixers, mining trucks, desert transport vehicles, oil field machines, maintenance vehicles, dock port loading machines, airport tractors, forklifts, underground loaders and heavy tractors.
